Just spent 4 nights at Hotel Scalzi. Had a spacious room with a great shower, and breakfast outside in the courtyard was a treat! The staff, especially Norman, gave us solid tips on navigating Verona. A bit loud in the mornings, but overall a lovely stay!

We stayed for 6 nights in a Double or Twin Room. The morning staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly, serving delicious cappuccinos in a lovely secret garden. Our room was ready when we arrived at 11am, which was a pleasant surprise. Great location just a short walk from the train station and town.

missingWrote a review on Oct 07air conditioning
The air conditioning left much to be desired, shutting off frequently and causing uncomfortable heat, especially during warm weather. Noise from the neighboring room was intrusive at times, and maintenance issues, like outdated decor and limescale in the shower, were apparent throughout the stay.

Charming decor and a delightful courtyard. Enjoyed breakfast outside with freshly made fruit salad and perfect coffee. Staff provided excellent tips for exploring Verona. Location was a pleasant 15-minute walk to city center. My room felt a bit cramped, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the air fresh. Small issues with the outdated look in the room were a bit off-putting, as it needed some maintenance. A little disappointing, but overall a lovely stay.

The location was convenient, just a pleasant 15-minute stroll to the city center. Breakfast featured a delightful mix of fresh options including expertly prepared fruit salad and quality coffee. However, the twin room was quite cramped, and the air conditioning struggled, circulating musty air. The absence of a mini-bar felt like a drawback during the stay, reducing the room's comfort factor considerably.

Breakfast was good and the courtyard was lovely.
We faced issues with the air conditioning in our room, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. The aircon kept shutting off, and despite asking for help, the staff were unable to resolve it. The parking situation was also frustrating.

Perfect getaway for couples
The customer service was through the roof. They set up a little surprise in our room for our anniversary, a bottle of Prosecco that was a nice unexpected touch.
It wasn't cheap, but worth every penny in my book.

This was a decent choice for a short stopover in Verona at a good price. They left a bottle of Prosecco in our fridge, which was a nice surprise for our anniversary. Make sure to get a map before heading out—it really helps.
